Introduction to Affordable Housing Development | Training Package
Overview
This course package includes 9 days of classroom based training delivered by experienced Project Managers who have worked throughout the sector in private and affoprdable housing delivery. The training is based on real life and not academic study, we use real examples and speak frankly about the many challenges housing development and regeneration involve, including key legistation and processes.
Format
- Understanding the Development Process - 2 day classroom course
- Acquisition, Feasibility and Project Planning for Development - 2 day classroom course
- Design and Planning for Development - 2 day classroom course
- Building, Contracts and Managing Onsite Developments - 2 day classroom course
- Financial Viability Appraisal Explained - 1 day classroom or virtual course
Certification of attendance provided on completion of all courses. Delegates will be able to book any of our scheduled courses within the 12 moths following booking to allow them to combine learning with work experience. We then offer regular, virtual sessions to provide ongoing support.
