The M3Pamwin Server hosts the following software to enable the functioning of the new M3Pamwin application.

SQL Server 2000 Database

Internet Information Server (IIS) 6.0

M3Pamwin Server Components.

The Server Configuration depends on the transaction load on the system. A single CPU Server is sufficient for installations with less than 150 users. At this moment it has been estimated that Pamwin application would have at least 5 users at a time transacting with the server. The server implements the Business logic components and uses the SQL Server stored procedures to load information to the application. This combined with the Web Services hosted in the Server demands more CPU power. This CPU requirement for the Pamwin resources can be met by the below mentioned specifications.

Processor: Intel P4 series or above

Processor count: 1

Real memory 1024 MB

Secondary memory: 40 GB

Operating System: Microsoft Server 2003

Mirroring: RAID Level 1 configuration with 40 GB storage space.

Free Disk Space: SQL Server 2000: 95 –270 MB

Pamwin Server Components: 5-10 MB

(Note: IIS gets installed along with Microsoft Server 2003).
