4 Getting Started

You can submit your order for Locator Plus via our web order form. During the order you will be asked for your purchase order number. You will also be asked to specify which schedule of rates you wish to use with Locator Plus.

If you provide your purchase order number and you specify an M3 schedule then we will send you a Locator Plus download link within about a day. It is quick and easy to order Locator Plus but if you have any questions then please contact us. We can also supply locator Plus on CD if required.

If you want to use Locator Plus with your own schedule, M3 will need to convert it into a suitable format and link it to the diagnostic screens. Send in your schedule and contact us for a quotation for this extra work.

The download consists of a Microsoft installation file which defaults to installing Locator Plus to C:\Locator Plus. (Locator Plus now defaults to installing outside the Program Files folder because the Vista operating system applies security settings in that folder which prevent full functioning of Locator Plus.)

Locator Plus should be installed on the same server as your repairs ordering software. Speak to the supplier of your repairs orderings software to integrate Locator Plus with their system. We can offer further advice on integration if required.

Most systems are capable of calling Locator Plus from the repairs ordering screen. Locator Plus helps diagnose the correct repair and can then populate the repairs order with the appropriate job.
