M3Checkmate is run by M3 Consultancy with the involvement of the subscribers. Focus Groups are held from time to time to review the contents of the questionnaires, the analysis and how the information should be presented.

Subscribers are invited to meet up at the NHMF Maintenance Conference in January each year, which includes a M3Checkmate Seminar amongst the workshop sessions. At the seminar they discuss what the performance indicators show, and have an opportunity to network with other M3Checkmate subscribers to explore best practice.

M3 Consultancy run M3Checkmate under the direction of the NHMF, and are responsible for developing the on-line system, and liaising with subscribers. They advise on the questionnaires, and provide a help line to resolve any ambiguities in interpreting the questions.

The M3NHF Schedule of Rates is managed and promoted by M3: it is used by more than 350 RSLs and local authority housing departments and a variety of other organisations.
