Meet the Team
Tim Wilson
Tim has over 25 years experience as a practitioner in property management. He has worked in both the public and private sector. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building and has a Masters degree in Business Administration (Public Sector) from the University of Birmingham. In the public sector Tim has worked for both local authorities and housing associations. He has experience of managing large property portfolios and a wide range of properties including housing, public offices, leisure centres and schools. Tim is also a director of M3 Housing Ltd
Tim was, until 2004, the Director of Property Services with a large transfer housing association, a position he had held since its creation in 1995. In this role he was responsible for all property and asset management including, property maintenance, architectural, quantity surveying, development, business development, health and safety and the management of the direct works unit. During this time Tim was directly responsible for delivering a £50m programme of repairs, improvements and new developments over the first 5 years. He was also instrumental in delivering the first 1NTEGER (Intelligent and Green Homes) in this country.
Tim was Chair of the National Housing Federation’s Asset Management Advisory Panel, which included representatives from the Housing Corporation, Senior Managers from the sector and consultants. He was Chairman of the National Housing Federation’s Regional HAMMAR (Housing Asset Management, Maintenance & Regeneration) Group for 5 years and Chairman of the National HAMMAR Group for 2 years. Tim was also a member of the NHF’s Regional Executive for 3 years.
He has carried out a wide range of commissions for clients involving strategic asset management work, health checks, management and organisational reviews as well as benchmarking studies and tendering and procurement. He has extensive experience of working with senior management, councillors, board members and residents.
Nick Wood

Nick Wood is a senior partner in the Consultancy and has over 25 years experience in the social housing sector. He has worked at a senior level in both property services and housing management during this time.
Nick has specialised in repairs and maintenance and was involved in the
conception and future development of the NHF Schedule of Rates. He was the Maintenance Manager for a large housing association for many years. He has experience of managing a large DLO and of open book partnering with contractors.
Nick has considerable experience of developing and implementing new working processes and procedures for repairs and maintenance including appointment and work scheduling software.
He has worked on a variety of projects for Local Authorities and RSL’s including service reviews, pay scheme reviews, organisational restructures, implementing IT systems and undertaking interim management assignments etc.
Nick was Secretary of South West HAMMAR for a number of years and has held the chairmanship of the Building Research Housing Group.
Robin Summerhill
His key skills include detailed investigational work (he dealt with formal complaints for an RSL for 9 years) database management, special projects, land law and research and development. He also has considerable experience in setting up procedures to enable RSL's to meet the Decent Homes standard.
Robin has developed the Checkmate on line system over the past year and has carried out numerous benchmarking data collection and evaluation exercises.
He is also a qualified SAP surveyor, which, together with his considerable experience in the fields of energy efficiency and Decent Homes, enables him to carry out a wide range of related commissions, from individual SAP assessments on individual properties to the energy profiling of a landlord’s entire housing stock. He has also undertaken stock condition surveys for a number of organisations.
