How efficient is your repairs and maintenance service? Which are the areas you could improve? Checkmate is the national benchmarking club to measure and compare performance in order to help you improve efficiency -- either as part of a Best Value review or in response to the Gershon agenda.
Checkmate is a nationwide benchmarking club for repairs and maintenance, which provides an in-depth study of the services provided by social landlords. It will analyse both the client function and direct works organisations. It can be used to develop and share best practice. Checkmate uses a number of measures to establish benchmarks, at a level of detail that is not currently available through any other benchmarking service.

Checkmate is now on-line, giving instant analysis as soon as you enter your data. Members have started Round 9 for the year ending March 2008 and data for Round 8 covering the financial year ending 5th April 2007 is still available. If you would like to receive further information register your interest here.
M3 Consultancy also provides a data collection service to help fill in the questionnaire, and interpret the resulting analysis. Please contact us for further information. More

The KPI Report lists 30 Key Performance Indicators with traffic lights to indicate how well you are performing.

You can filter which data you want to benchmark yourself against by date, cost groups, regions and organisation types. You can also inflate costs by BMI and RPI indexes.
Graph any of the Peformance Indicators with any filter to immediately see how you compare.
